Hunter is…
an American Mid-Western Storyteller. She explores the intersection of narrative writing, surrealist cinema, and themed experiences. Through ironic compositions and remediation, she creates realities which presents life’s complexities. Grown from youthful obsessions of the likes of The Twilight Zone and The Muppets, she takes inspiration from the bewitching messages of the macabre to explore the duality of whimsy and fear. Using the same penchant for psychological and philosophical analysis to beguile the viewer, Hunter’s works generate occasions for empathy.
